Event and Virus Suggestions mk II
EVENTS & VIRUS SUGGESTIONS POST
RULES AND INFORMATION PLEASE READ
» Please be as detailed as possible so everyone can understand. A virus explanation that isn't clear is liable to lose that virus votes during polling.
» IF YOUR VIRUS NEEDS TO BE SCHEDULED AT A SPECIFIC TIME, CONTACT MIRI AND IT CAN BE PUT ON THE CALENDAR. OTHERWISE, IT WILL BE SUBJECT TO POLLING.
» Please don't just suggest a virus on a whim, make sure you've thought it through! We end up with such a massive backlog that we'll never get through them.
» Yays, nays, and suggestions are okay, but in-depth plotting should be done elsewhere. Please take personal conversations to IM, to stop page cluttering.
» The virus with the lowest number of votes during polling will be removed. There's no rule against re-submitting it (if for example you know it had support and it was just that specific month was bad timing), but given the amount of suggestions we get, it's just not feasible to leave them all on the poll.
» The mods reserve the right to veto or edit any virus or event.
» Any event that the characters themselves will be orchestrating, such as Death's Picnic, a Halloween party, or a bar crawl, are NOT events for the purposes of this post. Permission is not needed to run such events. However, if you know the event is going to be of a considerable size, please avoid scheduling it alongside other viruses or major events to prevent comm flooding.
» Any event or virus (NOT a personal event or virus) that would require mod approval for sensitive subject matter also goes here. It will be treated as its permission comment.

Four Days (ish) Viruses
- Done With You Professionally virus: Characters are convinced they are actors of their own canons. :|b
- Who Are You Anyway virus: Characters forget someone(s) close to them, and have fake memories to match. Think What If virus.
- Sailor Moon virus: Fighting evil by moonlight, winning love by daylight...
- Harem virus: Like Karen, but more overt.
- Soul Eater virus: Become a Weapon/Meister, ???, BATTERU Profit!
- Powerswap virus: The old power switcheroo!
- Supers virus: The world is a comic books, and you're the hero/villain! Hope you don't turn out Blessed With Suck...
- Pregnancy virus: Exactly what it says on the tin. You're radiant, DDD!
- Seven Sins/ Virtues virus: Characters become the embodiments of a Sin or a Virtue.
One/Two Days viruses
- No Consequences: Nothing you do today matters! ...wait, it does.
- Wardrobe Malfunction virus: Expect to keep making like Janet Jackson.
- Emoticons virus: :O? D8!! ...=_=;;
- Mushroom Samba virus: Dude, dude, dude, look at that waving cactus clown over by the singing rainbow! How awesome is that!
- Lost in Translation virus: Translator Microbes fail. Sign language and picture responses imminent.
- Me Myself and I virus: Hope Past You and Future You get along with Current You...
- A Moment In Time virus: The community feels like sharing, and your memories are fair game.
EVENTS:
- Dungeon Diving event: I wanna cast Magic Missile!
- Zombieland event: Hostile world, full of zombies, death around every corner. Final Destination.
- Team Building event: Split into teams and work through a challenge course, DDD!
- Tron event: LIGHTCYCLES AND DISC-OFFS AND PROGRAMS OH MY
- Vacation event: Characters get sent on an all-expenses-paid trip somewhere
- Haunted House event: Pack your flashlights and rock salt shotguns, here be ghosts.
- Mystery Duck Theater: We promise not to show anyone Mr B Natural.
- Snow Trip: Hands up if anyone actually knows how to ski. No? Oh well!

Virus or Event?:
VIRUSES: Affect a character physically or mentally. Includes fake-memory viruses. Examples: Pokemon virus, Alignment virus, High School AU Virus.
EVENTS: Involve characters doing something, often against their will. Examples: Portal event, Assassins event. They are not planned by the characters.
Canon-based happenings eg Shadow Plot will 90% of the time be events, as the emphasis will be on doing something, and outside of the characters' control.)
Duration: (For viruses, between 1 - 4 days, apart from in exceptional circumstances. Please specify. For events, up to 5 days, apart from in exceptional circumstances. Please specify.)
Description: (DETAIL YOUR VIRUS OR EVENT HERE. Sell it! Be clear and precise and make it SHINE~!)
