Just got in from Infinity (tell me that the rumour it’s being shut down and turned into offices isn’t true). Fuckwits were fun and Clash-like as ever (this is a good thing). God it was hard to work today. The weekend was good but over too quickly. I went to see Jamie’s band Friday night. Apart from him being a friend, I genuinely think they’re quite good. I went to see the Dears at Virgin Megastore this evening. I still find something odd in going to see a kind-of-gig in a record store. Especially when the quiet bits get interfered with shopfloor noise. That said, it was a nice little set (well, an hour, so not so little really). I still love Who are you… most of all their songs. Also in the news, such a pity that Death Disco kept me away from my local Ikea opening last night. 20 hospitalized, a stabbing, stored closed half an hour after opening. I love London but sometimes, just sometimes, I despair.
