For those of you who haven't heard, it looks like I've found a job in Japan. I'll be team-teaching with a Japanese teacher at a public junior high/high school. I talked to the guy I'll be replacing, and it seems like a really nice setup. I met with the principal and another Japanese teacher at the school, and they seem very nice. いろいろ
So just now, I got back from having dinner with my Core Japanese classmates. It really is such a good group. Everyone gets along really well, despite certain language barriers. I guess we're all sufficiently good enough at at least Japanese to make ourselves understood (to each other. The teachers are another story). We went to a Chinese restaurant ( Read more... ) -
Weekend of the 16th (pics)
Last weekend, I went with my host dad and some of his friends from work (men and women) on trip to ... probably Yamanashi. I can't be sure, because we drove there. But s you'll be able to tell from the pictures, it was, at any rate, someplace very close to Mount Fuji.
