This may be sexist, and I'm sorry if it offends, but lately I have noticed that males tend to have horrible social skills, and it is gaining rank on my pet peeve list. I may not be the best conversationalist, or the most socially inclined, but I know the basics, and I am at least aware of my inadequacies.

i read a study (not so recently) about how men have difficulties with emotions. one person's theory on why is that way way back in the evolving day women had to know emotions and communicate to survive (teaching and raising kids, finding plant food and making it and other things all done together socially) and men really were required to not talk because they were doing stuff like hunting where if you talked you scared away the game. but anyway there was an test done where they took both women and men and flashed pictures of people with different expressions in front of them and the testee had to identify the emotion. men had a much much harder time

I've been writing slightly more personal entries in a real journal, to be honest. I did not think my livejournal entries would be missed, but I must have been mistaken.
