Rushing for Anime Next
Oh man. Less than two weeks until Anime Next. And all three of my costumes need finishing touches. Ah. I've been sewing every single night after work for as long as I can stay awake. During my lunch break I even do as much work as possible without my sewing machine or anything. Ahhhh. -

Yazoo! (finally)
So I'm back in America and have already gone to one con - Katsucon. There, I got to try out Yazoo for the first time. I started working on him in Japan, but didn't finish him until I got back here. It looks WAY better than it felt like it looked. Pics under the cut.

Meirin Elementary School
Even though today is a holiday for most students at the university, I woke up at about 7:30 a.m. to go to Meirin Elementary School, right around the corner from Kansai Gaidai. There were about 10 of us international kids, and 10 Japanese, and we were going to go speak to the first and second grade students there about our countries.
( That many kids in one place is truly overwhelming. ) -
Universal Studios Japan
Went to Universal Studios Japan this Saturday (yesterday for me). What a crazy, surreal experience.
( The day started at 8 a.m. for me because I was excited and couldn't sleep in. ) -
I am amused
So I was walking home from the kyukyu a few minutes ago. I was probably about 3/4 of the way home when some guy on a scooter went past. I saw him kinda turn around and figured he was just checking out the foreigner (which happens pretty much every second of every day). But then he turned around and actually rode back toward me.
