I'm in the midst of slogging through paperwork for Berkeley. You would not believe the number of hoops they make you jump through before enrolling in classes -- and I thought that the application process was bad! I had a geeky moment. I was thinking about the Faerie Queen. There are three brothers in the poem whose parents were a bit creative with the name game -- Sans-Loy (without law), Sans-Joy (without happiness), and Sans-Foy (without faith). Last November, two glass items were broken in my house: a wine glass that I knocked off the table, and a lightbulb that was, at the time, attached to the lamp that my cats knocked through the roof of my snake tank. I went to the Rosicrucian Museum today, in part because I have a term paper due in ancient art history and needed a piece to do it on. Elementary schools breed plague. Thankfully, I recovered in time for Spring Break, so I have been able to enjoy being a vegetable without the added bonus of a runny nose.

I wish to procure a fencing bag, because the thought of lugging my gear around on transit without one gives me palpitations.
