Wow, a whole month since I wrote. I've been very busy in that month balancing and juggling my jobs and wedding planning and house keeping and more! Our wedding day is getting closer! Yesterday marked 1 year of our engagement. Things are falling into place. We have pretty much everything and are now waiting for the rest of the RSVP cards (people have another week to mail them).

Very excited for our upcoming "party" and summer too!

So I had my first of 2 bridal showers this afternoon. This was a "friends shower," and it was so much fun! 2 of my close friends put it on...one is really into art/decorating, and the other is really into fancy cooking, so together they put on quite the party! It is so interesting how weather can vary from one week to the next, especially at this time of the year. March 10th brought us a huge snowstorm that led to a slow, slippery commute and even closed some schools early and businesses for the night. We had a whirlwind of a week. I already wrote about my actual birthday last Tuesday. Then amongst lots of picking up and cleaning and working on our house in order to get it ready for our Sunday party, we had other fun dates to go on too.
