New appreciation for this town

I'm glad you've rediscovered the joys of riding a bike. biking around the lakes is fun...I've gone around wingra & monona. I'm always surprised at how quickly I can do it on a steel 3 speed. what kind of bike do you have?

Cheapo ten-speed hybrid bike I got at Target. It still remains to be seen how frequently I actually use it, but if I end up biking more often I might eventually spring for a nicer one.

I love budget bikes...they seem to have a good used selection. besides looking badass, the main reason I got a cruiser style bike was for the HUGE comfy seat, which makes long trips easier.

I miss that about Madison. My town outside of Denver has lots of bike paths, but not really anywhere to bike to (all the interesting stuff is too far away).

One of your five statements is demonstrably false.

Also, I *love* biking/walking on that one bridge across lake Monona. It's so pretty. I need to bike more. Biking is awesome.
