WTF Jack Kirby?
The estate of Jack Kirby has sent termination of copyright notices to Disney involving every character that he Mr. Kirby had a hand in creating for Marvel. Ummm... that's damn near everything but Spider-Man. Crazy I say, crazy. -

It seems DC Entertainment has no plans for a new Superman movie. Strange for no other reason that if they don't get one in production by 2011, the Siegel and Schuster families will be able to sue for damages and even more rights to the character ( Read more... ) -

So DC Comics has been engaged in a lawsuit with the families of the men that created Superman for some time. I've talked about this before and won't go into my personal feelings on the matter. Had my first 4th Edition D&D character die last night. Had I lived I would have finally been Level 11, which is the beginning of the Paragon Tier of play. Oh well, the game must go on. Goodbye Dayerth Stormblade, the Eladrin Swordmage. Hello Lucan Portico, Half-Elf Bard. -
GL movie update
Ryan Reynolds got the part of Hal Jordan. He can do cocky which is nice. God I hope this movie doesn't suck. Please, please, please Warner Bros, remember that Hal Jordan is a space cop and have most of the action take place in space. -

Looks like we're getting another Superman movie. The heirs of Jerome Siegel (co-creator of the Man of Steel) got a ruling from a US District Court that says while the WB owes them no money, they can seek damages if the studio hasn't started production on a new Supes movie by 2011. I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around Damien. Twenty years ago we all voted unanimously to keep douchiness outside of the Batcave with the DC 900 number campaign that allowed the Joker to wail on Jason Todd like a piñata.
