A squirrel tried to climb me today.

It's ok, I fought it off. It'll take more than one mangy squirrel to get my lunch off me.

That is an amazing story!

I've not never met a squirrel quite like that. Yet.

Squirrels are in fact evil, and plan to take over the world. (This is why dogs chase them.)

Your lunch was only the first step.

Congrats on defeating it!

Only the grey ones, those bastards.

The world (and my lunch) is safe for another day!

Edit: *shaaaaame* Forgive me!

That happened to a friend of mine once. He was scarred for life and blamed me for the whole thing. Now we're on opposing sides in the Civil War.

Me, I'm a tougher cookie. I fought off a duck, once.

This is so true. On many levels.

A squirrel once followed me into my house. I was still very young and we'd been taught to keep our distance from them (though not to be particularly scared of them), and this one had come over the boundary line where we were supposed to sit in the porch til it went away, so I did. Then it followed me into the porch, and when I went fell back into the house, in nipped inside. My mom was in the kitchen, behind the counter and was like, "What's up?" and I remember just looking between her and the squirrel and thinking, like, "WTF" and "How do I explain this (in such a way that it makes it clear this is not my fault)?"

But it was very WTF. I'd had peaceful non-interaction with squirrels for ages, and this one was suddenly changing All The Rules.

Also, one of my cats once tried to nick a sandwich off one of my friends. I walked out of the kitchen to find my (very large) cat sitting in my friend's lap, my friend waving his sandwich over his head.

Squirrels are like they. They like to throw you a curve ball once in a while. Squirrels and robins (robins are more adorable about it though).

Are you saying your cat is part squirrel?
