i understand that he was acting crazy and confrontational but he didn't have a weapon and they fucking shot him. the police. the worst part is that he was my mother's boyfriend. now she's inconsolable. the entire neighborhood is on edge. there are some drunks inciting the cops yelling "don't shoot me. i'm unarmed." and my mom is just sobbing and

thank you for your kind words. we are slowly making it through the ordeal but so many feelings of anger and sadness linger because it shouldn't have happened. it was one officer that emptied his barrel into rocky's chest and he fell to the floor and died. there was an entire investigation that lasted until 3 in the morning. they closed the street and questioned my family and myself since he lived with us. they also questioned many of the other witnesses. no one understands why it happened. hopefully some answers will be given to us soon.
