Let me begin by telling you why this show was of special significance both to us Indonesians and (as I would later find out) to the Rejects themselves. The bombings of July 17th is still fresh in all our memories, and to stage a major musical event in the heart of Jakarta on this day of all days, our Independence Day, can only a be daunting thing.
