Let me begin by telling you why this show was of special significance both to us Indonesians and (as I would later find out) to the Rejects themselves. The bombings of July 17th is still fresh in all our memories, and to stage a major musical event in the heart of Jakarta on this day of all days, our Independence Day, can only a be daunting thing.

ISN'T IT?? I have a feeling the boys haven't played a solo show (no opening band, no support act, just THEM) in a long time and they were really, really giving it their all.

I love them so much! AAR's been around so long but they're so underrated, I don't know if they do this on purpose. But I still love them.

Well they've won me over, that's for sure. Musically they fall into the more easy-listening, radio-friendly rock category, but with just enough of their own flavor to stand out from the crowd. I've been listening to all their records and it's amazing to hear how much they've developed over the years.
