Well. I never, never, thought I'd get to this milestone. It's been 10 years or more since I even contemplated such a future.
Tonight, I take the step further than I have ever gone.

Christmas Eve. Snowfall off and on for several days. The longest night had snow falling under an orange sky.... tonight, clearish, dark purple, but the roads -- in my suburban city especially -- are not going to be easy going. The seasons turn, and for me, at least, the recent weather speaks to me of beginnings, possibilities, the chance to return to heights I held before.

I do still think "Once in a Lifetime" makes a surprising good TF end credits song, though. :)
