i have noticed, recently, that when i talk about something i feel very strongly about in casual conversation that my voice grows louder and i tremble. i am not sure if this is a recent development, or if i've only recently started truly caring about anything.

got a job at katie's parents' shop. costa rica is still happening, less stressfully than before. i am so incredibly grateful for all of these things, and for every breath i take.

that i got laid off.

it is less like losing a job and more like losing the place i grew up.

it's like i'm trying to think my way through a cloud of dust and cacophony, and my train of thought (despite all the distraction) remains a bright clear tone, cutting through the chaos and commotion. i think it's times like this that i think and function best, so i welcome the frenzy.
