I'm now the LGBT Middle Common Room (postgraduate) committee representative for my college. The previous rep had to leave early to start her PhD at a different university, and they needed someone to fill the vacancy, and I'd been asked numerous times if I'd be willing to run for the position, probably because I'm one of the few visibly gay
