We went to see the latest Harry Potter movie. After seeing the fifth movie or so, I started reading the books so that people would stop spoiling the films for me. This made me sad, because I really enjoyed watching the movies before reading the books. I went to a Cambridge archaeology social night tonight. While talking with a few people, the topic of national stereotypes came up, and a friend of mine commented that Belgians were weird. I was at the pub with three Irish guys last night. Two medieval archaeologists and one medieval historian. One had a very 'neutral' type English accent that became progressively more Irish as the evening went on, and one talked like Brad Pitt's character in Snatch.

I bought a second-hand bicycle yesterday. I rode it for the first time today. Going into town, I realised that one of the sets of gears wasn't changing, so I rode it into the closest cycle shop to have it repaired. While in the shop, I nearly passed out.
