I can not even begin to express how much I am going to miss that girl. Saying goodbye was amazingly painful, I have never kissed someone and actually tasted the salt from their tears before. Tonight I did five times over and now I wish someone was here to kiss mine away. Bon Voyage. La séparation est tel chagrin doux. And I'm so bad at it ( Read more... )

Caitlin,

At some point you and I should meet up and have a big Clemence-departure decompression, because I totally nearly lost it on the highway this morning, which I thoroughly did not expect.

You lucky girl! And iBook and $1000!!! Man... I love graduation. I got some good stuff too... 13 years of studying... and it FINALLY pays off :)I wish I were there to give you a big hug and make you feel better... but instead I'm stuck her, ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE COUNTRY, sending you mental hugs. So... are you coming to visit so I can give you a real hug? Or are we waiting until a later date?

looks like I'd be asking a little too much for a plane ticket out your way...I miss the pants off of you though and you and I are the reason that I have absolute faith in long distance friendships. Babe, we've been apart four years and I still know you like a sister. Cheers! MWAH!

I know exactly what you mean about the Clem thing. I've left the same friends about 4 times when moving over the atlantic and it hurts just as much every time. I guess I more know what Clem feels and in that case I can assure you she misses you (and is equally, if not more, sad about your departure) just as much as you miss her.

I wish I got money for graduation, then I wouldn't have to work this summer. But hey! Work builds character....right? If all you people weren't such Apple freaks I'd make some comment about that, but I'm gonna say grats on that too :D.

Me graduating didn't hit me until I was alone with my family, 20 minutes before I left for Project Graduation. I guess there's a phrase that triggers the realization-cycle. Mine was "we're so proud of you", maybe something like that made you think about it?
