I found this do it yourself site while searching for ways to power my well and found a ton of fun projects.  So I decided to share it here.  Maybe some of you have seen it before?

So do any of you handy people out there know how to power a well pump off the grid?  Is there some way to attach it to a car/truck battery?

Well I'm on a forum that discusses horses mostly but has an area for other topics. The title was "Do you support gay marriages/rights?", and really the topic was handled well from both sides.
