Due to peer pressure about upcoming events and the fact that it is World Vegan Day tomorrow, I'd like to do some gratuitious advertising of upcoming vegan events in the UK.

I've just received a pdf of an article about the Dresden conference. There's lots of nice pictures and a few of us were interviewed (including my friend Miriam and myself) so there are some quotes and that sort of thing. It's in Japanese however. Anyone interested in a copy, or even seeing what I was quoted as saying? (How was that for subtle?)

Last night I went to Coffee, Cake and Kink with D, M and prolificdiarist  who brought me chocolate cake from Rootmaster. I also got hugs from people.

The London Vegan Meetup group and VEG London are having a joint dinner at The Peking Palace next Thursday, 16th October. It will probably be followed by a trip to get beer or cake (or ideally both).

Things that are cool...

My hairdresser talking about how he doesn't eat mammals/birds and that he is a "pescitarian" and actually using that word, rather saying he is a vegetarian.
