the scene is painfully familiar: mere hours before I'm supposed to leave for the playa and long after my shit was supposed to be together for the trip, I find myself attempting to attach a rubber dinosaur to something using adhesives not appropriate for that purpose. I realize this is a long shot but if anyone knows anyone leaving the playa on Thursday 8/31, I need a lift back to SF or to Reno to make it to college orientation on time. I'll help pay for gas and help with driving if desired and I won't sing "the wheels on the bus...." even once on the way.
