Just got a KOBO arc and am not doing anything i ought today for the playing. since i can`t have a smartphone where i live this is my first foray into apps & the like. (no Gs here. only v old-school cellphones work) but since i`m going to EUROPE for vaca I thought i needed a slim way to carry books. more later!

And tonight we paint as many more ceiling tiles as we can... we won't quite finish - that will have to wait for spring. But it's getting there! I am loving the look of htese curtains. Thanks topixie_on_acidfor the IKEA run!

This is from Everglades National Park, in early January of this year, and I think it's my favorite ever butterfly picture. (that I took) It might not seem like much, but one posing and one in flight! I think it's pretty cool.

The pup who is now 9 months old, and in the last week has learned to open the back door of my house. Which means we have to always keep that door locked now, or he decides to take himself out for a walk. It is a PAIN IN THE BUTT!

In the spring I mentioned to an itinerant musher that I had never been on a dogsled... so he took me! I got to ride in the basket, and for a while I even got to drive the team.
