In my quest to branch out, do things, and meet people, last night I attended the medieval mystery book discussion and ice cream social. I was the youngest person there....by decades. So I'm starting to think about planning the boopy's one year party. Oct 28th falls on a Saturday, so it will be perfect...as long as there's no Revs game that is. Hopefully by then we will have a big house to fit everyone. My biggest fret is that I don't know people with babies boopy's age, so I won't have many friends for her at her party. Minty fresh gum does not make it any easier to swallow after an unsuccessful mouth-to-mouth attempt at resuscitating a goat. yuck.

Florida was awesome! I had a wonderful and relaxing time overall. I did manage to pick up a cold from somebody, and we seem to have shared it around, but family gatherings and illness apparently go hand in hand these days.

Wow today was crazy. My supervisor decided to take the day off, and gosh did he have bad timing (of course, he has so much vacation time, he can practically take off one day every week).
