Cousin Chris (Neal[s wife) and Karen came to visit yesterday and Gail and I had the most delifhtful visit with them.  Lots of laughs and happiness.  It is so good for me to see these three wonderful women interacting with each other in such a warm and happy manner.  It is a strangely content time amoungst them... and interesting with so much uproar ( Read more... )

Both, in childhood and as an adult, there was little dispute that Aunt Tess was the family hero. She was probably the source of a certain amount of jealousy and difficult feelings amongst her sisters and certainly was the source of much excitement and anticipation amongst the nieces and nephews when she would visit.
