My first few reactions were calm ones, and then I saw the cards and flipped. I squeed and had to stop the video for half a minute. Since the previous meeting was rudely interrupted by the ice storm and since Mr. Z is currently having a hectic time at the store, we've decided I should come up on Thursday to do all the fun job-interviewing stuff. Any time from opening to 4 pm.

YES!!!

A month ago I sent out my first applications and resumes to random shops and stores, but one of the top five was Barnes & Noble's. I kept calling, fell out of the habit, and then called again. I just got back from a Town Hall type of meeting. I've always wanted to go to one of those.

It was in the Library, so I didn't mind being dropped off three hours early. I spent most of that time typing here anyway. I left the books in a bag in the breezeway so there was no use getting up to look for more.

Slinkers pointed me in the direction of something: Death Note is being made into a movie.

There isn't a lot of information on it other than it's slated to be out in 2010. I can only assume this is going to be different--American maybe--because there have already been...two, I think.
