The Watchmen
We saw The Watchmen last night. I mean no disrespect to those who liked the movie. (Being a big Philip K. Dick fan, I loved A Scanner Darkly, but I understand why a lot of people didn't. This may be the same kind of thing.)
That said, here's my review in four bullet points:- The soundtrack was a disgrace

Tomorrow is the two week anniversary of my getting my nose broken. Which means that for 13 days I've been breathing more clearly than I can remember. A fitting end to the year?
What a sucky way to end the year. Had to skip going to party, because there's been a very nasty virus doing the rounds of the family, and it wouldn't have been very nice to spread it to our friends. Talkin' 'bout my g- g- g- g- g- g- whatever
Recently we watched Slacker (www.hulu.com/slacker), a movie which I hadn't seen since 1993. It surprised me. First time I saw it I thought it was entertaining, but I think it's become far more interesting with age.
