Post-a-palooza! I know I've pretty behind in covering my whirlwind travels so I'm going to divide it up into separate posts. I've actually had the description of my last weekend in Germany partially written for a while. It's just been tough to devote the time to finish it and get it posted. It's quite long.

The last two days have basically been complete wastes. We're all so tired, burned out and hot that no one wants to do anything. It's been over 100 degrees Fahrenheit at times and with quite a bit of humidity as well. It's been a pretty kickback couple of days. Yesterday we drifted in to the data center after lunch and then went downtown to the Irish pub to watch the Netherlands/Uruguay game. Yes, technically today was the ninth day we've been here. Sometimes it feels like we've been here longer and sometimes it feels like we just arrived. When we're all together it feels like we should be leaving soon. We're starting to grate on each other just like at the end of every deploy. The days are just blending together now. I was in Paris for a while, then back in the US and now I'm in Germany. The days themselves haven't changed much. Even while I was in the US I was working like I was still on a deploy. I'm starting to lose count of the days. It seems like it's only been two days since my last post but maybe that was really four days and this is two; rather than three and three. Oh well. Some number of days have passed. Yeah. This is about Saturday and Sunday. Friday was covered in my last entry.

Man. Is it really only the third night here? It feels like it's been at least a week already. I suppose twelve hour days and jet lag will do that. Essentially losing a day traveling doesn't help. Mostly I just had two Boston related things I wanted to share: one, the pictures I took with what little time I had outside of the conference in Boston. And the second the fact that the Boston Bruins became the third team in NHL history to lose a playoff series after winning the first three games.
