It's been a weird week so far. I had just gotten settled into my new house and now I'm spending a week across the Orange Curtain. I miss my house. I miss my community. Halfway there. I at least have Internet in my house but I don't have TV. They need to run new cables and the guy who came to install stuff couldn't do that. New cabling will be coming on Friday and the TV install is on Monday. Fortunately, nothing exciting is happening at work so no one has really missed me being essentially offline ( Read more... )

Earlier this week I gave notice to my current employer of my intent to resign. I verbally accepted an offer with another company almost a month ago and it took them four weeks to get me an actual signed offer. Okay, so perhaps I did have miles to go but I was able to sleep along the way. ;-) And more importantly, I am now home. I don't know for how long this time, but I'm here at least for now. I know there are more trips in the planning.
