Nooo- that one is GREAT! Like I said, it goes past the "I'm trying to write" to "I'm writing". I loved the shock of "What the he..." when I realized she wasn't alone, then I loved the the spiral of the story. Plus, you've gotten that fine distinction of using just enough description to impart the feel without belaboring.

There is always a pull between image and story. Finding the balance is key. The hope is that after one story a week for a year, I will come out the other side with the knowledge.
