Somehow coming home has been much less exciting than I expected. Nothing here really feels like home anymore, not my house, church, library, or food co-op. Kate, I don't understand how you scored so much higher than I did. Also, is it trying to distinguish between environmentalism and social/political activism?
I fell off for the first time at Earlham this morning during team practice. We were cantering, which I hate doing on Crockett because he always goes too fast, and I'm not really all that good at canterng anyway because I haven't done much cantering since May. Today at Cope while waiting for the next mail-out to print, I cleaned a snake's cage. Very exciting, that. Also very smelly. Why is it that the smaller the animal the grosser it is to clean up after it? Usually I think barn meetings are really drawn-out with a lot of people repeating each other and lots of petty bickering, but this one was actually entertaining. Yes, we did get to hear a five-minute explanation of why it's important to tell people when you're leaving te barn with lots of examples of people being left in the dark, but it was

Today at dinner I was sitting with 4 other people with J names. It was super exciting. Also I got to whip out the good old 7 Principles card for the very first time to explain UUism. Alas, the inquirer was a vegan and objected to the "inherent worth and dignity of every person" bit because it places people above animals
