Ever tried to do a teleconference when you have no voice? I had that honour today. It is a good job I had a couple of translators in the room with me to relay my squawking croaks into English. Cue many, many giggles and guffaws all round. Still, we got the job done ( Read more... )

Poor you. I think I would have been tempted to go to bed instead and pull the duvet over my head. Hope the evening went ok and wasn't too dull.

I know the feeling. I was once on a teleconference and had a coughing fit halfway through, after which I sounded like I'd been sucking up helium. It didn't help that I was doing most of the talking.

It turned into a great laugh in the end.. cheered up an oh-so-dull briefing session. It is hard work squeaking away though hehe.
