So these past two days were the JET mid-year conference which was hilariously something that I was looking forward to but wound up being exceptionally disappointing.

I shall explain.

So I'm about a month into Japan and things are going pretty all right. My schools are mostly stabilizing into manageable ways. I still dislike some more than others, but I don't think that will ever change. So a week into teaching I think I've actually managed to get a hang of this whole teaching thing. In other words, some schools are much much better than others at actually making a schedule and sticking to it as well as actually having a plan in mind for class and then sticking to it.
