I have just had confirmed that I will be going to Germany next week to GSI which apparently is near Frankfurt. This is just to do some test on a magnet that was installed there a few weeks ago, hopefully it will be cold by the time I get there. Should be an interesting few days ( Read more... )

Well here I am on my last day as a Cambridge resident. On Monday I start work in London.

I've been thinking about election strategy, a bit OK I'm not involved in party politics. But, I've wondered why when electing several councillors from the same ward parties that have a very marginal chance put up multiple candidates and split their vote.
