So I'm working at the YWCA Toronto now and this week is their national Week Without Violence. And it's funny that it should be this week because I had a terrifying experience this past weekend. Across the Universe
So I saw the movie Across the Universe two nights ago. It was amazing. I honestly loved every moment of it. It's very much a Hair-esque movie (it's a musical and it's set in the US during the Vietnam War). It's all Beatles music. My trip down the Eastern Road...

So I had a bit of a tough weekend. I got home on Friday after working in the ghetto (which was surprisingly fun) only to find out from my cousin's husband that my grandma Gwen passed away Friday evening. So it's official! My Mom and Tom are married! It's so funny because during the ceremony I realized how much I've changed because I am genuinely happy for them... But put me back a few years ago and I would not have been happy to be there.

It´s crazy here!
So yesterday was a bit sad... my mom had been here with me since Sunday and she went home yesterday, and I´m not going to see her until June! So she and I cried a lot yesterday. My first few days in Spain
