Home Again
DrB and Professor X got in today just fine. They of course both crashed out hard at 10pm since they are still on central time. Chase is none-the-worse for wear except for some mosquito bites acquired during Trick-o-Treat--I guess he was the treat. -
TV
I've really been enjoying Case Histories on PBS. The hard-boiled Private Detective is one of my favorite archetypes, and it's got a metric ton of stoic male angst. Good times. -
Bachelor Weekend, Now With Bears
cuddlyeconomist, Professor X, and Rhys spent the last week in Houston, and DrB and the baby get back on Tuesday. They had a great time, and it meant Rhys got some quality time with his brother and mom. It was a little harder to be away from them this trip, mostly because I worry about the boy. Back to the PacNW
After a lovely 10 day vacation to Texas, I'm back in Seattle. cuddlyeconomist and Professor X are staying in H-town for another week so they can have quality time and Halloween with the Rhyser, but I'm back to the Code Mines Monday. -
The Geekining
Saturday was our 'second wedding reception' at the Texas Renaissance Festival, and we had about 45 guests. It was really more a "Christing" for Chase, which in our case is really more a "Geekining". Busy Busy
Two weekends back, I spent most of my time playing the new Lord of the Rings Online expansion while DrB and Professor X were off in Houston meeting family and spending time with the Rhys.
