I feel like I'm the only one of my friends NOT going to Baitcon this weekend.  What's up with that?  Not that I mind having a weekend home alone, but it seems like anyone I might have called to be social has ALSO gone to Baitcon.  Is BC that big an event that it's a must-go thing?  I don't understand....

I lost FOX and NBC HD channels on Thursday.  Luckily I've got an over-the-air antenna, but it's really annoying that I can get more HD channels by unplugging my cable.

I've been an RCN customer for over a decade.  I've been quite happy with them all this time.  Their phone service has been solid.  Their Cablemodem service has been fast.  And their TV service has been very friendly and open.  Their basic cable has been accessible without a cable box, and once I got a digital tuner I was able to tune in to 92 ( Read more... )

I sent off my passport renewal on April 30th.  My new passport arrived today.  That's literally 1 week turnaround time.  Sweet.

I like my new passport photo, too.  :-D

It's been two years as of today.  I'm still smiling.  That is all.
