So one of my colleagues had that vomiting bug this week. Now two of my colleagues phoned in sick today with symptoms. We're wondering who's next...

Very strange day, we had hour and a half tea break this morning. I just have a pile of filing to do this afternoon.

Hopefully next week will be more intersting.

I can't understand people who get the "post Christmas Blues". After all it is mainly hype by retailers, the news media and the like that creates this sense that we should all be having a jolly good time over the Christmas period. We've decided to make 3 meals a week vegetarian since we both OD'd on meat over christmas. We have a big long shopping list and as Truro is still blessed with an indoor market, a farmers market, and Chacewater has a couple of grocers, we're going to boycot supermarkets as far as we can in 2008. Graeme has now been missing since 19th December. We had a fright when the missus started calling the local vets and the first one, in Redruth, said they had had a ginger cat taken in that had been run over in Chacewater. Another swiftly disappearing weekend passes again.

Friday got home, had fish and chip supper from local chippy, opur aim is to minimise leftovers before we head North to Manchester on Thursday. Watched some Ray Mears on DVD. We also made some fudge.

Went to the preview of the Truro College Staff Art Exhibition last night. Was early so not many people there and we left about 6 as we had to get home to the cat. But it was good to see my work displayed with a host of other talent. Some work was very good indeed, and not just by people in the art department.
