I spent all day trying to figure out what's wrong with Serenity. For some reason, she's been playing weird songs no one's ever heard before over the comm system. Zoe and I took Mal to the hospital. I could record the long boring details of it, but dealing with bureaucracy is never entertaining. Basically, we got him there with no problems. I've been trying to figure out what's been going on around the ship, but the Cortex News is apparently on strike. This is a gorram shame. I spend so much time on the gorram bridge trying to make sure we don't run in to anything that I really need them to do their job to keep up.

We made it to Boros and me and Zoe spent the day at the beach, relaxing. Right now, we're back at the ship getting ready to go out to the Dirty Dog Pub. Well, Zoe's getting ready, I've been ready for a half hour and figured I'd journalize while waiting for Zoe. You never would guess that Zoe takes forever to get ready, but she is a woman after all

Recently I've been wondering if maybe there isn't something more for me out there. I keep feeling like my position here may be stifling my potential. Looks like we're headed to Boros. Not sure why, but Jayne really seemed to want to go there and Mal didn't seem to mind. Maybe Zoe and I can get some time away from the others there. She could use some fresh air and sunshine after what she's been through.
