I have completely cleaned out the fridge and made lots of delicious cooked veggie dishes.
I have the makings for stew all ready prepped for tomorrow.
I have all the pears (oh, my, did I have a lot of them) and most of the small apples from the farm share all sliced, cored, and sitting in the dehydrator.
I feel incredibly domestic and accomplished.

EDIT: Okay, I'm lame. I stupidly thought that if I made it a 'public' post, those of you I've not friended could reply to this. Dumb. Regardless, I've just corrected this mistake. I'm bad about checking who's recently added me as an LJ friend ( Read more... )

Modeling is hard work. Don't let anyone tell you different. I've spent the last two days modeling for up to 7 hours at a stretch, only pausing to change sets, lighting, or costumes. It can be fun, but there is an awful amount of work involved. You move, flex, stretch, and hold positions that most of the time are not natural. You have to think. ( Read more... )

You know I'm struck by how wonderful it would be if I could make time more malleable.
And yet, at the same time I realize that if I could manipulate time, I'd most likely abuse the gift.
Anticipation can be a harsh ruler. Yet, it often makes things sweeter in end.
That said, I'd like Friday to hurry up and get here.
