My Grandmother...
My Grandmother passed away this morning. She did it on her terms...not wanting to bother anyone. I already posted a bit about her life previously...mainly thoughts I wanted to remember. My grandmother...
...is not long for this world. She is 94 years old, and has lived a great and adventurous life on her terms...but we had a scare today, it may have been a false alarm but the end is near. Hospice will hopefully be called in to make her last days more comfortable...and for the family. She is my last surviving grandparent...She came to the US to keep ( Read more... ) -
2011 in review...
Wow, a whole year as a father...it's been unbelievable and still dizzying sometimes. Josh is still alive...do I get extra credit? (I feel like I succeeded at the high school class where they give you an egg and you have to care and nurture it...) Josh is asleep and I will probably follow in a short while. Cinematic vs gamist...
I have an interesting question, mainly brought about by playing the Tombstone Western LARP last weekend. What do people do more...play to the game or play to the cinematic. Reason I ask is that sometimes, within a LARP, it seems like you could game it for your character to survive even when he/she shouldn't as opposed to doing what is cinematic. ( Read more... ) -

Had lunch yesterday at the work cafeteria and afterward started to feel a bit queasy, my forehead also felt warm. To double check, I visited the nurses station at work and yep...101.7 degree temperature. Looking back...the long view...
How do you sum up a year much less a decade? 2010 started out with the millennium, a look to the 21st century.
