So, I have a really busy schedule...weekends are completely booked. I work 8 hours every Saturday, and every Sunday, I see Jason. This week is packed with tests and final projects and I have 2 more finals next week before I fly home on Wednesday. My theatre professor sprung on us just yesterday that our final (which is tomorrow) is worth 1/4th of our grade. Wtf? We have no textbook for that class...all we have is this thin course reader. I went home for Thanksgiving, and it was really nice. My family went over to Jason's house and we all ate Thanksgiving together, which was pretty awesome. I'm glad our parents seem to get along so well. Hung out with Jason on Sunday, which was nice. We kind of had just a really relaxing day. I was exhausted from Calafian Anniversary on Saturday. We both fell asleep while cuddling, which was nice. It's comforting just to be able to be around him, even if we're not saying anything ( Read more... )

I've been really busy recently. Before the election, I was working on the No on Prop 4 campaign (with some No on 8, as well), doing phonebanking with my feminist club and walks/demonstrations. Oh my god, I had the best weekend ever! Jason's mom, my mom, and Jason's family friends came down to San Diego for the Walk to Cure Diabetes at UCSD. We all went out to Coronado on Saturday, walked around the town window-shopping, and then we had lunch at the Del (which was wayyy too expensive, but hey, the cafe was beautiful.

So, I haven't been around for the past couple of months, but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. :) I don't have time right now, but I'm hoping to update again soon. Classes start next week! Wow, the summer went by so fast!

I'm home for the summer. Jason is still at school and will be for another week and a half. I miss him something dreadful. I've been home since last Monday and a week before that, I was staying at a friend's house for a few days before we all attended May War 2008--a big camping event for the club I'm in, the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism).
