An umbrella. It's feminine enough, it seems very practical - it surely wouldn't get too much attention. It is a weapon that you could use in close combat and, technically, it is a kind of sword, which fits with your "stylish in an old-fashioned way" style.

I'm going to go with Scythe.Personally, I think it would be very 'stylish in an old fashioned way'.It would suit your preferance for close combat.I also think it's a a weapon that would give the user an air of mystery.So yeah ^^;

I definitely see you having a sword/katana. Old-fashioned, romantic (as you define it), and suited to close combat and a quick kill.
