I think I'll say Kapitel! Aya to me he seems the type to hate stereotypes, he is the right mix of introvert and extrovert to satisfy you I think he is serious and intelligent
After thinking it over - believe me - very carefully, I'll vote for Knight.
Before I explain myself, let me write a few words about the characters I didn't vote for. Botan was close (I'm sure he would never hit a woman, but I think he might bring you to neurosis as he would annoy you the same way Rosencrantz annoys Guildenstern in Stoppard's play. Besides, I think that if you had a problem or bad mood, but didn't speak about it, even if he noticed that something's wrong, he wouldn't react, allowing you to do what you want as long as you didn't started to get on his nerves (somehow I think that in normal circumstances he might be the outgoing type, but maybe that's just my vision). As for other characters, Chloé was close, too. He obviously matches your intelligence and wit, but as outspoken as he is, he tends to run away from real problems and difficult situations. I think he has a kind of inferiority complex, and not a minor one, his nonchalance is more of a pose. I think you'd need someone stabile emotionally and sure of himself in
