[The first thing Hilda did when she woke up was confirm Canada and Holland were alive and well. The second thing she did was take off with her Pokemon. She needed time to herself, after spending the last few days feeling so completely useless.
The baby moose, therefore, is of interest to her. She's following it through the park curiously, but from a distance.]
[The moose is doing moose things. Well, moose things if domesticated moose were often stuck in Mayfield. He seems to be trying to take comfort in whatever foliage is even sort of familiar, and every so often, he'll stop to stick his head in a bush. If he's aware he's being followed, he's too freaked out in general to care.]
[Hilda has decided this moose is adorable, but potentially dangerous since she does not actually know what a moose is. Therefore, she will cautiously approach, keeping her Pokeballs at hand just in case.]
[When Hilda approaches, the moose backs out of the bush to look at her, then sits on his rump, watching. He continues to be adorable, if slightly bewildered looking.]
I just wanted to be sure he wouldn't get sick. We haven't been using pesticides on them, but I didn't know if they would be poisonous to him, in and of themselves.
[They may not be the closest of friends, but he was one of the nations she was most worried about over the weekend, so she's excitable enough that she doesn't see any issue in running across the street to intercept him. And by 'intercept' I mean 'tackle hug'. Confused again, the young moose gallops to keep up with her familiar nationthing, the bear waddling some distance behind.]
[He'll sleep awhile more, exhausted. But when he does wake, a painful shudder courses through him, ghosts of pain in his body, and when he opens his eyes he takes a very deep breath, letting it out with a long, shaky sigh. For a moment, he's simply staring ahead, not really seeing the ceiling even though it's there.]
[She's been in a cosy state of half-consciousness for a while now, but when he shudders, she's instantly alert, pulling back from his a little to look at him.]
[It's both a statement and a reassurance, probably for both of them, probably not very useful. But she can't think of anything else to do but that, and smile at him.]
[Everyone is getting hugs today. Ukraine also gets an affectionate nuzzle to the leg from Kumarie, though, while the moose looks on in apparent distress, as he's been doing here in Mayfield.]

[ Her tone is less worry about the shrubs and more worry for the calf. ]
