[Drabble] Time Slip Jung Yunho [5/?]

Young Rae tries not to cry but the mortification doesn't go away. Those nobles merely laughed at her mother's gift and ridiculed her brother. She blinks rapidly and struggles silently against Kyungtak's hold. Of course, she cannot get away but it doesn't stop her from trying.
"I've brought her to greet you, Your Excellency," Kyungtak interrupts. "I brought her today, as my fiance."
Young Rae looks away to shield her eyes from their laughing faces. Their words hurt even though she should have known better to feel it. Harsh and forced, she excuses herself politely. Someone crashed in-between them, loosening Kyungtak's hold.
She flees the party grounds in rampant anger. She doesn't get very far when she hears Kyungtak yell in frustration. In shock, Young Rae turns around just in time to their other house guest, Jung Yunho, being flipped into the water.
In all these years knowing him, Young Rae has never seen Kyungtak lose his cool so easily. She wonders what the self-proclaimed entertainer did to the police officer. Shaking her head in wonder, Young Rae was about to continue on her way when she ran head first into Dr. Jin.
"Are you alright Miss?" he asks. Young Rae looks up at the doctor and blinks back the tears. She forces a nod and he seems to accept it.
Just as they walk off in a rather comfortable silence, a gruff yelp and loud splash makes them turn their heads. Dr. Jin runs toward the party again and Young Rae follows at a slower pace.
"Chun Hong!" Lee Ha Eung cries, running toward the water. Minister Kim's son swims to shore, cursing the 'damned wretch'. Dr. Jin also reaches the water's edge, ready to get in, but Yunho stops him.
Still completely soaked, Yunho threw off his wet durumagi and jumped back into the water. His large strokes quickly brought him to the drowning gisaeng and within a few moment, brought her back to shore.
But she wasn't breathing.
Young Rae gasps loudly as Dr. Jin placed his hands on her chest and even even kisses her. She's not the only one who finds this display horrifying. The only person who seemed to look on with only worry was Yunho.
"It's only CPR," Yunho explains to the panicking Ha Eung. "It's a process used to restart a person's breathing after swallowing water."
This seems to placate the relative of the king. Dr. Jin must have strange ways and even though Young Rae's mind accepted the reasoning, her heart still clenched painfully. The gisaeng coughs up water and Ha Eung yells out with happiness.
"Who…who saved me?" Chun Hong asks in-between heavy breaths.
"Yunho pulled you out of the water and Dr. Jin revived you!" Ha Eung exclaims loudly.
"Is that so?" the gisaeng says. She bows her head slowly. "You two must let me repay this debt. Please accompany me to our House and I will do my best."
"Oh! Let's go Dr. Jin, Yunho!" Ha Eung says in glee, patting the still soaking wet Yunho on the back harshly. "Oh…Yunho-yah, you are actually quite muscular for a stick."
Young Rae glances at Yunho in curiosity and it was true. With his white cheogori and paji sticking to him like a second layer of skin, light outlines of Yunho's muscles could be traced with the eye. She looks away quickly but notices the other gisaeng were ogling without shame.
Surprisingly, she finds Kyungtak staring and when she catches his eye, her fiance looks rather mortified. He looks like he wanted to explain but didn't know quite what to say. Just his facial expression made her chuckle. Twice in one day, she's seen him flustered and all because of one Jung Yunho.
Looking up, Young Rae sees Dr. Jin looking at her. His kiss with Chun Hong flashes across her vision and she storms away. She ignores Dr. Jin's calls and even as he walks behind her, Young Rae resolutely keeps her eyes forward. Even so, she was overly aware of his presence a mere three steps behind her.

A/N: Uh, I skipped quite a bit but I actually have bits written for that. I might post it (probably not)...but anyways, yes Yunho and Dr. Jin have changed into Joseon wear and have ponytails. Think of Yunho during T. Hotness I know. @_@
Oh Yunho, he's going to be beaten around for a bit just 'cause Kyungtak's not going through a good time himself and Yunho's being persistently annoying. Uh, I guess it's a good thing for Young Rae and Dr. Jin that Yunho's there, haha XD
