I just saw An Inconvenient Truth tonight, and I truly believe that it was the most important film I will see in my entire life. Please, please, please go see this movie. Read articles.  Recycle. Turn off your lights. Walk. Do whatever you can, just do something. Do everything.

no matter how much americans do to "clean up" our act, the global warming trend will not stop, or slow, until China and other third world countries with manufacturing markets also clean their operations up.
There's a mine fire in China which has been burning for something like 10 years, and has been pumping tons of CO2 into the atmostphere.
but i agree, its time to get smart cars people!!!!

yes, but we're responsible for more Co2 emissions than any other country in the world, and the fact that others are doing wrong is no excuse for not doing right.

oh man, giraffes are the best! i saw them at the zoo a few times recently, and they're just crazy amazing. they look like regal aliens. plus last week i bought the book Giraffes? Giraffes!, so i think i may qualify for full-on obsession. i can scan in the picture i drew of a giraffe, if you'd like!

and hopefully the movie will still be playing when you get back so you can learn how to save our planet so giraffes can live on it!
