It is not only delightfully smart, accessibly scientific, and logically refreshing but also quite funny and enjoyable to read.

I was offered a job today for this school year to continue my research in my advisor's lab and be paid for it. I will basically be just doing enough experiments in order to get a paper together to publish what i've done this summer in a broader context.

 there is something reminiscent of let down in the air these nights. can't tell if it's real or made up. either way it has me a bit empty

 4th of july party a huge success.

the music, the people, the dancing, the drinks, the lighting, everything perfect. 
also, a bunch of our friends showed up naked but painted like american flags... it was pretty sweet.

the morning after the most terrible thing in this world. am still heavily influenced.

 campus is full of mormons.

every summer there is a mormon camp that's purpose is to train them how to date in a way that is "pleasing to god". Imagine going to a camp knowing that you were going to "learn how to date". robotic. creepy as fuck.
