He could make this a dream, maybe.

This was great, Sam's internal bitchy little brother was just fabulous.. and Dean instigated, which is awesome and just does not seem to happen enough.

Thank you so much! :D

and just does not seem to happen enough.

I am not sure why this is! I am all for equal opportunity instigation, myself. Hrm.

I have to agree with ash_carpenter, it was mesmerising. It felt like I held my breath the whole way through, until they kissed! I first thought it was an established relationship fic because of Sam's feelings and thoughts, but the kiss was a very nice surprise!

And the last lines are gorgeous!

Thank you very much! I'm so glad that you enjoyed it, and that the kiss was a nice surprise; that it worked as opposed to jolting you out of the story or anything like that. ♥

This is really atmospheric and yet still grounded in Sam's thoughts and Dean's presence.

I'm so glad that it was effective at both -- thank you! :D

This is spectacular. I love the words, and the characterizations are brilliant. Also, I love me some fic where Dean instigates, since that like, never happens. Thanks!

I haven't seen much of it, either, and I'm genuinely not sure why. Weird, that.

This was so good! I loved Sam's POV through the whole thing - how well he knows Dean and how he comes around after the kiss. Thanks!
