Yesterday I had to run to the ATM at the National City bank on East University. I turned on East U from South U and parked in the commercial loading zone and ran across the street to the ATM. Today was the day of the 1/2 marathon for which I have been signed up since July and dreading since August.  I ran it in 2 hours 11 minutes and 32 seconds.  I was 125th out of 255 in my age group and my underwater mile time (through the tunnel) was 8:58!   My actual pace was 10:03 min/mile.  I am absolutely thrilled with these results!  Although I ( Read more... )

This weekend I went to Virginia with Kristin and Matt to go visit David. It was our "Sexytime Crew" reunion and it was fabulous! We flew into Washington DC and acted like tourists on Friday. I am taking 2 classes pass/fail this semester. The beauty of this is that I am also taking 2 of the hardest classes I will have to take as an undergrad and I can focus all my attention onto them. I got A's on my first exams in those classes so, thus far the strategy is working ( Read more... )
