so, my dear brother james signed up for the navy yesterday. he's going to do medical stuff. i am beside myself. i AM very proud of him, but on the other hand i just don't want to risk losing him. okay, yes, it's the navy, but you never know what will happen. i'm just going to try to be the best big sister i can & support his decision. at least he'

my friend rebekah from college joined the navy to do medical stuff too. she lived in japan for awhile, then san diego, then back to japan, & now she's in yemen.
