i finally have the internet in my apartment. a guy in my building is letting me connect to his wireless network for a set fee which is awesome. what's not awesome is that i am still couchless, so i am sitting on the floor in my living room

craigslist seems to be awesome for not-terribly-expensive furniture. although sometimes you really have to look at the stuff in person because some people try to pawn off shitty near-death pieces for way more than they're worth.

i looked at a couch today from craigslist! i've just got to get a vehicle & man power to move it.

Target has easy to assemble shelves for $20. They are pretty much win.

funny enough, my bathroom was the first thing i got set up, but that's because all i really needed was a shower curtain. haha.

i'm hopefully getting a couch this weekend, i saw it today & it's just what i need, i just need to work out logistics of moving a 7' couch.

no, still in des moines. i moved out of the apt i shared with joe because we are no longer together. things with him are fine though, so no need to worry!
